The mouth and lips are one of the most attractive objects for a man in a woman. It is soft and sensual lips that largely determine her sexuality. Therefore, a modern woman should pay no less attention to them than to the skin of her face.
The skin of the lips is no less vulnerable than the skin of the eyelids. It is very thin, does not emit oil, does not sweat and dries quickly. Its surface has many nerve endings that provide its sensitivity, and blood vessels passing close to the surface give it a red color. As a result, lips bleed more profusely if injured, and the risk of skin cancer on the lips is higher than elsewhere. The condition of your lips often reflects your overall health. Beautiful, smooth, red lips indicate good health, while a bluish tint is often a sign of diseases of the cardiovascular system and lungs.
Since there are no sebaceous glands in this place, the lips begin to lack moisture faster than other parts of the body, their appearance worsens - they become dry, lose their appearance and shape, and lipstick looks bad on them. This happens especially often during the cold season, when the skin of the lips is negatively affected by the cold outside and dry air indoors. The skin of the lips does not contain pigments and therefore lacks natural protection against ultraviolet radiation.
As a rule, the nasolabial triangle begins to age even earlier than the skin around the eyes. This is where the first wrinkles appear and the skin becomes flabby, revealing your age. But even at a young age, the skin on the lips can peel and crack - a consequence of dry lips, metabolic disorders and a lack of vitamins A, E and group B. In addition, fever (herpes) can occur on the lips - several transparent blisters subsequently dry up - most often along the outer edge of the red border of the lips.
Many people believe that in order to keep their lips in good shape, it is enough to paint them with lipstick. This is wrong. Most women have already matured enough to use nourishing creams for the skin around the eyes at night, but the lips, no less than the eyelids, need medicinal (and not just decorative) cosmetics. They need to pay extra attention, especially in winter. Cleansing your lips should be done daily, gently, without stretching the skin, removing lipstick and dirt with cotton wool and cosmetic milk or cleansing lotion. For these purposes, you can also use vegetable oil or nourishing cream. It is useful, especially when peeling, to peel the lips. There are special lip peeling products, but gentle exfoliating skin masks are also suitable. You should cleanse your lips with them once every 7-10 days, simultaneously with deep cleansing of your face. A good peeling is also a lip massage, which is advisable to do daily. To do this in the evening after brushing your teeth, massage your lips in a circular motion with a toothbrush, whileIn this case, it is advisable to apply lip cream on it. You can massage (and clean) your lips with a corner of a terry towel moistened with water. While brushing your teeth, pat your lips with a toothbrush. This procedure improves blood supply to the lips and preserves their natural freshness. After the massage, lubricate your lips with a rich cream.
Moisturizing and nourishing your lips should be done as often as your facial skin. First, don't forget to hydrate from the inside out. Drink 1.5-2 liters of liquid per day, half of this amount should be water. Special products are used to moisturize and nourish lips. Lips should be lubricated at all times, including at night. As a preventive measure, it is recommended to use hygienic lipstick, including under makeup. It prevents dry skin and chapped lips. Lip balms are not only a hygienic, but also a therapeutic product. They nourish, soften, moisturize and protect the skin of the lips (from sun rays, wind, frost), give the lips a natural shine and elasticity, and heal cracks and wounds. Nourishing lip products are also available in the form of creams. It is more convenient to use them at night. They prevent moisture loss and provide continuous care throughout the night. When applying the cream to your lips, lightly tap the red border with your fingertips. In winterAvoid greasy lipsticks and lip balms.
Some people have a bad habit of licking their lips with their tongue when they start to dry out. This can cause your lips to suffer even more. Therefore, as soon as you want to lick your lips, immediately apply hygienic lipstick, which you should always have on hand.
When purchasing medicinal lip cosmetics, ask what is included in it and read the label carefully. Ingredients that are beneficial for lips are: vitamins A, E and group B - eliminate cracks, give the skin softness, help heal wounds; proteins - create volume; various oils (avocado, jojoba, shea butter, coconut, almond, castor) and beeswax - have moisturizing and smoothing properties; chamomile, calendula, aloe juice - nourish, moisturize, promote healing of wounds and inflammations; solar filters - protect the skin from ultraviolet radiation.
