Winter is a time of increased traumatism and the culprit is not only ice, the use of pyrotechnics, but also completely peaceful fun - sliding down the hills.
In recent years, inflatable sleds (tubing) have become increasingly popular.
Cheesecake sledding, unfortunately, is one of the most traumatic forms of recreation. They are capable of developing high speeds and even spinning around their axis during descent. However, they are completely uncontrollable and are not equipped with a braking device.
To make cheesecake riding safe, you need to follow simple rules:
- ride only in a strictly designated and equipped place;
- the angle of inclination of the descent should not exceed 20 degrees, at the bottom of the slope there should be enough space for braking;
- you should not ride tubing on slopes overgrown with trees; there should be no holes, bumps, protruding bushes, or stones on the route;
- before going down the hill, check if there are people on the way;
- you cannot attach the tubes to each other like a train, they can turn over;
- you should ride the “cheesecake sled” while sitting;
- to avoid injury during descent, do not brake with your feet;
- upon completion of the descent, you should immediately leave the ski area.
