Specialists of the State Institution “Polotsk Zonal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology” carried out technical, technological, verification activities in relation to preschool institutions in Polotsk and the Polotsk region.

During the activities, the following typical violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation were identified: the proper condition of the premises was not ensured, the requirements for the decoration of the premises and the maintenance of equipment were not met; when handling products, the use of containers, equipment, and utensils with defects was allowed; children were organized to stay outdoors for a total duration of less than 3 hours and 20 minutes; deviations of more than ±10% from established nutritional standards were identified; there were no fresh fruits or juices on the daily menu; the level of artificial lighting did not meet hygienic standards.
