On July 27, 2026, specialists from the State Institution “Polotsk Zonal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology”, during a surveillance exercise with sampling, identified products that did not meet the requirements of technical regulations:

Storage conditions: at a temperature of +2°C +8°C and relative humidity no more than 85-90%.
According to the results of the tests, the sample does not comply with the safety indicator (nitrate content): the actual value was 116 mg/kg, with the standardized value not exceeding 90 mg/kg, which is a violation of the Sanitary Norms and Rules and the Hygienic Standard “Requirements for Food Raw Materials and Food Products”, approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus dated June 21, 2013 No. 52; Hygienic standard “Indicators of safety and harmlessness of food raw materials and food products”, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated January 25, 2021 No. 37, Technical Regulations of the Customs Union 021/2011 “On the safety of food products”, approved by Decision of the Customs Union Commission No. 880 dated December 9, 2011.
The remaining products in the retail facility have been removed from sale.
Information regarding the violations identified was sent to the supplier of the Republic of Belarus, as well as to interested departments for taking action.
