Specialists of the State Institution “Polotsk Zonal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology” carried out a technical (technological, verification) event in relation to health care organizations in the city of Polotsk and the Polotsk region.
During the event, the following typical violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation were identified:
- there were defects in the steps of the porch entrances to the buildings;
- the surfaces of the premises (walls, floors, ceilings) were not maintained in good condition;
- it was allowed to use furniture and medical equipment in violation of the integrity of the hygienic covering, faulty sanitary equipment;
- the lighting fixtures were in poor condition: there were burnt out lamps.
