In May of this year, the state institution “Polotsk Zonal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology” twice carried out sampling and laboratory control of water from an artificial reservoir in the village. Belchitsa, Western Dvina river, lake. Beloe in the village Azino, lake Serdovo in the town of Vetrino. Based on the results of laboratory tests based on verified microbiological indicators and chemical composition, the studied water samples meet the hygienic standard.

During the swimming season, weekly monitoring of the sanitary condition of bathing places approved by the decision of the Polotsk District Executive Committee will be ensured, with laboratory monitoring of water quality according to standardized microbiological and sanitary-chemical indicators for compliance with the requirements of the hygienic standard “Drinking Water Safety Indicators”, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated January 25, 2021 No. 37.
