🧑🚒 How to safely clean up your site and prevent a fire?
Important advice from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
🔥 Refusal to burn: Never set fire to last year’s dry grass. The fire spreads instantly, especially with gusts of wind, threatening homes and people.
🔥 Composting: The best way to get rid of plant waste is to put it in a compost pile.
🔥 Garbage removal: It is safer to collect and remove foliage, branches and garbage than to burn it.
🔥 Mowing: To protect the area from external fires, mow the perimeter of your territory.
🧑🚒 Rules for burning waste
🔥 Place: Use a metal barrel installed on an area cleared of flammable materials.
🔥 Distances: The fire must be at least 10 meters from buildings, 20 meters from the forest and 30 meters from the straw.
🔥 Fire extinguishing equipment: There must be a fire extinguisher, a bucket of water, sand or a shovel nearby.
🔥 Supervision: Do not leave the fire unattended for a minute. At the end of the burning, pour water over the fire area.
