As part of the state preventive project “Farynava – a healthy age”, on the eve of the International Day of Older Persons, the “Active Longevity” event was held at the Farinovsky Culture and Leisure Center, in which 55 people took part.
It was attended by the State Institution “Polotsk ZCGE”, State Institution “Polotsk Central City Hospital”, RO BOKK, State Institution “Polotsk Regional Center of Culture”. Specialists of the State Institution “Polotsk ZCGE” organized an exhibition of information and educational materials on rational nutrition, organized a “Phyto-bar”, where participants could enjoy herbal tea, held a quiz on healthy lifestyle issues and a lecture “All about hygiene”.
The Chairman of the RO BOKK designed an exhibition of materials on the prevention of coronavirus infection and physical activity of older people. Specialists from the Polotsk Central City Hospital conducted a master class on measuring blood pressure and organized a “Find out your blood pressure!” parking lot.
The State Institution “Polotsk Regional Center of Culture” held an oral magazine “To be healthy is to live long.” The vocal group of veterans “Dubravushka” and the folk ensemble of Belarusian song and music “Polotsk placers” performed for people of golden age.
The event turned out to be eventful, informative, fun and gave the guests many pleasant impressions.
