In order to prevent the introduction and spread of infectious diseases constituting a public health emergency of international significance on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, on June 26, 2026, at the international road checkpoint “Grigorovshchina” in the Verkhnedvinsk region, a training exercise was held to identify persons with symptoms of an infectious disease constituting a public health emergency of international significance (Ebola fever).
During the exercise, issues of interaction and mutual information between border, customs, medical and sanitary-quarantine services employees at the Grigorovshchina checkpoint on the State Border of the Republic of Belarus were worked out.
Participants demonstrated the procedure for identifying, diagnosing, providing the necessary medical care, notifying officials about identifying a person with symptoms of an infectious disease, organizing restrictive measures, the procedure for using anti-epidemic protection kits, using logistics, and carrying out disinfection measures.
